Troubleshooting
Common symptoms and what to try first.
| Symptom | Try this |
|---|---|
| Visual still shows the old version after import | Switch the visual to a table and back, then check the version via right-click on the icon |
| Get more visuals is missing or blocked | Ask your Power BI admin to allow visuals from AppSource |
| The visual does not work after adding it | Ask your Microsoft 365 admin to assign you a SimpleWaterfall Pro licence in the Microsoft 365 admin centre |
| Visual is blank | Check at least one measure is in Values; refresh the report; widen the visual |
| Labels are shortened with an ellipsis | Increase the visual size, reduce font size, change Value Format to millions, or rotate labels |
| Bars look cut off at the top or bottom | Check the Y-Axis Minimum and Maximum; bars outside the range are clipped by design |
| X-axis labels are hard to read | Use Rotate labels, Concatenate labels or Wrap text; turn off Fit to width and increase Minimum Bar Width |
| Some categories are grouped into Other | Turn off Limit Steps or increase Max Steps |
| Numbers show the wrong format | Check the measure's format string, then Value Format and decimal places on the Labels and Y-Axis cards |
