Build a predefined measures waterfall
Use this when you already have a measure for every bar. Example: Gross Sales, Discount, Net Sales, Material Cost, Adjustment, Gross Margin.
- Add the visual to the page
- Drag each measure into Values in the order you want them shown
- Leave Category empty
- Open Format visual > Define Pillars
- Switch on is Pillar for Gross Sales, Net Sales and Gross Margin; leave the others off so they show as steps
- Make sure step measures carry the right sign (for example Discount as a negative value)
