What are cookies?

This cookie policy explains how Datanomy Technologies Limited (“Datanomy”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at datanomytechnologies.com (the “Website”). It should be read together with our privacy policy.

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device — computer, tablet or mobile — when you visit a website. Cookies help websites function properly, enhance user experience, provide analytics and support marketing activities.

We may also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, software development kits (SDKs) and local storage. Together, these are referred to in this policy as “cookies”.

Types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary

Essential for the operation of our Website and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take that amount to a request for services — setting privacy preferences, logging in, or filling in forms. They may include cookies that enable security, network management and accessibility.

Legal basis: these cookies do not require your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Performance & analytics

Help us understand how visitors interact with our Website by collecting information about pages visited, time spent on pages and error messages. We use this to improve the Website.

Example: Google Analytics (including GA4), with IP anonymisation or similar privacy features enabled where available.

Legal basis: used only if you provide your consent.

Functional

Enable enhanced functionality and personalisation — for example remembering choices you make such as language, region or other preferences.

Legal basis: used only if you provide your consent.

Marketing if applicable

May be used to track browsing habits and help deliver relevant advertising and marketing communications, including by enabling advertising networks to build a profile of your interests.

Legal basis: used only if you provide your consent.

Managing cookies

You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent at any time by:

  • Clicking Cookie settings in the footer of any page; or
  • Adjusting your browser settings to block or delete cookies

Please note that blocking or deleting certain cookies may affect the functionality and performance of the Website.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. There is no consistent industry standard for how websites respond to it, and we do not guarantee that we will respond to these signals. You can still manage your preferences through Cookie settings.

Mobile devices

Your device may allow you to control tracking and advertising identifiers via its privacy settings.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies may be placed by third-party services that appear on our Website — for example analytics providers or embedded media. We do not control these third-party cookies. Please refer to the relevant third party’s privacy and cookie policies for more information.

Enquiry form and spam protection

The enquiry form on our contact page is provided by HubSpot, and is protected by Google reCAPTCHA. Both are loaded when you open that page so the form can be displayed and can accept a submission.

reCAPTCHA processes your IP address and information about how you interact with the page in order to distinguish human visitors from automated ones. It is a security measure rather than an advertising tool, and it cannot be switched off without disabling the form. If you would prefer not to use it, please email us directly at sales@datanomytechnologies.com instead of completing the form.

Google’s use of this data is governed by the Google privacy policy and terms of service. HubSpot’s use is governed by the HubSpot privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this cookie policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and the “last updated” date above will be updated accordingly.
